CPU Chemical Protective Undergarments
LANX
Fabric Systems comprise a family of WMD protective products
that
are adsorbent, durable, air permeable, user comfortable and
fire resistant as
required. The base adsorption technology is polymerically encapsulated
activated carbon. This unique technology provides extremely
uniform carbon
distribution and chemical protection.
Constructed with LANX Type I Fabric are the only CPUs authorized
by the
US Military based
on the JSLIST test program. Military specification
MIL-U-44435.

When worn with Flame Resistant (FR) apparel, enhances fire
protection. This feature is especially attractive to Bomb
Squad (EOD) applications and other end uses where the possibility
of
a flash fire exists.
The
flexibility provides an excellent foundation for multiple configurations
• U.S.
Army Special Forces: Soldiers use the CPU beneath the Battle
Dress Uniform (BDU), appropriate gloves, boots and
respiratory protection to establish MOPP 4 level protection.
• Technical
Escort Unit: Members use the CPU beneath a Tyvek Type “F” garment
for enhanced vapor and aerosol protection as back up
in the event of a tear in Tyvek suit.
Members consider this configuration a level “B” ensemble
when worn with the appropriate gloves, boots and respiratory
protection.
• Law
Enforcement Units: Officers wear the CPU beneath duty
uniforms or coveralls for tactical or security operations.
• Bomb Squads: Technicians wear the CPU
beneath Bomb suits for additional flash fire and chem/bio protection. This configuration
shields the CPU from the blast, maintaining better protective
integrity than suits worn over the bomb suit.
• DeMil
Contractors: Workers wear the CPU beneath various configurations
of non-permeable,
splash protective suits
when monitoring or working with chemical warfare agents.

sizing is very difficult to manage as Lanx suits use
chest size, inseam,
and waist meausrements to determine proper fit. You may
