Description: The
SGE-400 gas mask has a single
center mounted filter port & provides
excellent visibility & impact resistance. A premium
M95 long-life NBC filter is included (two spare filters
are recommended); These filters exceed the U.S. Army requirements
for NBC protection & have
a 10 year shelf life. The kit comes standard with a Tychem
SL chemical suit made with the world renowned Tychem
material and an additional protective Saranex laminate (SL)
for extreme
resistance to chemical permeation. The chemical suit features
an attached hood & booties, and elastic wrists.
*This
kit is also available in a tactical version which substitutes
the standard white Tychem SL suit for our
military (OD Green)
NBC / Chemical suit at no additional cost. The military
(OD Green) NBC / Chemical suit is designed for long-term use
in
NBC environments & is more appropriate for outdoor use
as it is made from extremely durable rip-stop nylon, with a
carbon lining to absorb contaminates. Both suits are worn over
your regular ‘street clothes’, including your shoes
(the military suit does not cover the shoe) & is easily
donned in the event of an emergency. Additional foot protection
is provided by the PVC protective overshoes which
have excellent traction & are extremely durable & puncture resistant.
Military Spec Butyl gloves provide exceptional hand protection.
Butyl is used by nearly all military forces to protect against
chemical & biological warfare agents.
To
keep your mask, filter & other gear accessible when
needed, a military gas mask carry
pouch is also included; It
features belt loops, a shoulder strap & numerous compartments & pockets
to keep your gear organized & secure. All these items fit
neatly into our deluxe black nylon gear bag (which has 2 large
end pockets, a side pocket & an oversize opening) so that
your equipment is stored together and is ready in the event
of an emergency when seconds could make the difference.
The
SGE-400 mask alone is sold elsewhere for $199 or more. (That’s
the price of this kit!)
