Ranger CH1600 Infant Child Protective Gas Mask Hood
The
CH1600 is a unique PAPR system designed to provide infants with
the highest
level of protection. The system consists of a loose fitting hood
with integral carrying frame, blower,
lithium battery, NBC filter & an integral feeding/drinking system. The CH1600
provides 3 cfm of airflow & creates positive air pressure within the hood,
creating a safe & comfortable environment for the child. The unit operates
using battery power to run the blower, which pulls contaminated air into the
filter & pumps filtered air through the hood.
The entire lightweight system weighs under 3 lbs.

Adjustable straps hold the infant snugly inside, & two inside zippers open
easily to secure the baby & allow for quick access. A feeding bottle & comfortable
carrying frame is included. A spare battery holder is provided so that batteries
can be changed very quickly. Fitted with lithium batteries at the factory, but
will accept alkaline types (4AA’s). 2 sets of batteries & filters
are recommended.
